Have Kids, Will Travel

Hi! I’m Megan. I’m a Manhattan resident with two kids – a newly minted 5 year old and a 9.5 year old. As a child, I was lucky enough to live in many places, including overseas. While I resented all the moves at the time, I’ve come to appreciate the perspective I gained from these experiences.

As a mom, I try to give my kids an equally rich childhood (though hopefully with a bit more stability). Living in Manhattan, there are so many opportunities right outside our door. But I don’t want them to only see a single city.

While traveling (even just around NYC) can feel daunting at times, there are ways to make it manageable. This blog is my attempt at documenting our many adventures, both big and small!
